LG Electronics Opening Its Own Escape Room Cafe
On the 30th of March, 2022, LG Electronics will operate the 'ThinQ Room Escape Cafe' at the 'Cafe Grandfather Factory' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul from the 7th to the 24th of next month. It is a part of marketing to provide a new customer experience targeting young people such as the MZ generation. It will be created as an exhibition space where you can experience the innovative functions of various products and four themed spaces: kitchen, living room, study, and laundry.
Similar to other room escape games, the purpose of the game is to find hidden clues and get out of the house within the time limit, but the biggest feature is the application of the 'LG ThinQ' app. For example, in the laundry room, you need to remotely control the Code Zero R9 robot vacuum cleaner with an app to find hidden clues with 'Home View' (a function that allows you to see the surroundings through the camera mounted on the product). You can also find clues by activating window blinds with an Internet of Things (IoT) accessory.
Jinhyuk Jang, Executive Vice President of LG Electronics Korea Marketing Communication Group, said, "We hope that many customers will be able to experience innovative intelligent lifestyle using the LG ThinQ app at the ThinQ Room Escape Cafe. Providing memorable customer experiences beyond product and service experiences. We will continue to provide opportunities to communicate with our customers,” he said.
Customers who want to experience the cafe can apply from the event page on the LG Electronics website from the 31st of this month. LG Electronics is also holding events such as the Styler Object Collection and Code Zero M9 Object Collection through social networking service channels.
Meanwhile, LG Electronics is operating a dedicated experience space at LG Best Shop stores nationwide so that customers can experience the smart functions of the LG ThinQ app, which integrates artificial intelligence and IoT technology.
In addition, to provide an 'F U N experience', which is an acronym for 'First, Unique, New', an arcade where you can enjoy games with the latest OLED TV and a unique kitchen appliance experience It is expanding customer contact points by operating the space 'Another Kitchen'.
